BibliodramaDeepen your prayer in Holy Week and Easter. Use this doodle poll to indicate occasions when you would likely be available to participate in a session of Bibliodrama. We aim to find two occasions when Susanne Ruschmann, an expert facilitator, can guide our engagement. A timely response will be a great help. Email Stephen and Susanne if you are interested and hope to participate in any case! Liturgies | Gesù ChapelTuesday, 3/14 On Tuesday evening, Dan Dixon will serve as deacon and preach at our 5:15 PM liturgy. Wednesday, 3/15 On Wednesday, the evening liturgy will be in Spanish. Thursday, 3/16 On Thursday, Velenson Gomes will serve as deacon and preach at our 5:15 PM liturgy.

The Installed Catechist Webinars - The National Association for Lay MinistryPope Francis’ decision to establish the instituted ministry of catechist offers an extraordinary opportunity to recognize, affirm, and support the formation of catechetical leaders and other lay leaders called to serve the church’s mission of evangelization. In an effort to foster reception of the pope’s vision within the U.S. church, NALM and NCCL are collaborating on a two-part webinar exploring the theological foundations and practical implications of this moment in ministry.

Climate & Environmental Justice ConferenceApril 27-28, 2023 | Santa Clara University The Environmental Justice and Common Good Initiative is pleased to announce the 2023 free conference, entitled “Climate & Environmental Justice Conference: Faith-based, community-based, and academic collaboration for action” to be held at Santa Clara University and online from April 27– 28, 2023. The conference will advance the work of organizing community-university alliances and partnerships to promote climate and environmental justice in Northern California, across Latin America, and throughout Jesuit higher education. Cantare: "Sacred Service"Sunday, Mar. 19 | 4:00 PM | Scottish Rite Center, 1547 Lakeside Dr., Oakland Paul Kircher invites all to a concert of "Sacred Service," a choral setting of the full Jewish Sabbath Service in Hebrew. This 20th century masterwork by Swiss-American composer Ernest Bloch emphasizes the universality of the religious experience in the chosen texts. Roslyn Barak, Cantor Emerita of Congregation Emanu-El in San Francisco, will provide introductory remarks. The program will also include "Five Hebrew Love Songs" by contemporary American composer Eric Whitacre.
