JST Announcements
  • Add/Drop period ends the evening of Friday, September 13.
  • Want to travel to Washington D.C. and represent JST at the Ignatian Family Teach-In For Justice (IFTJ)? To learn more or complete an application click here. The deadline to submit the application is Friday, Sept. 13.
  • Looking for work? Various JST offices are looking for assistance: the Front Desk, the Office of the Dean, and the Renewal Program. Please apply, if interested, by checking the website for JST Current Student Job Openings.
  • Upcoming Lay graduates (Fall 2019 or Spring 2020): Please contact Clare Ronzani at cronzani@scu.edu by September 15 if you anticipate completing your studies in Fall 2019 or Spring 2020 and wish to include your résumé in JST's annual résumé book for potential employers. If you have not done so already, you may sign up for weekly notifications regarding full-time job openings; please send a request to jstcareerservices@scu.edu.
  • The JST Student Life Office is sponsoring two upcoming trips to Santa Clara University: for the Mass of the Holy Spirit on Oct. 2 (transportation available at 10:00am, returning around 3:30pm) and a JST sponsored Prayer Service as part of the Inauguration festivities for Kevin O'Brien, SJ, on Oct. 9 (transportation available at 3:00pm, returning around 9:00pm). If you would like transportation to these events, please contact Mary Beth Lamb, melamb@scu.edu by September 24.
  • Each year, JST awards "Student Development Grant" funding to subsidize students' expenses for participation in a conference or workshop that will further their academic or ministerial formation.  To apply, please submit a  Student Development Grant Application to Paul Kircher, Assistant Dean of Students, pkircher@scu.edu.   Fall Deadline: October 1.
  • Interested in serving as an immersion leader with high school students? Tamara Setiady, Immersion Coordinator, will be at JST on Tuesday, October 8, to meet with any interested students from 9am-2pm in the JST Compañía Room and Patio. Please RSVP at tsetiady@siprep.org.
