  • Thanksgiving Mass at 10:00am on Thursday, followed by light breakfast in Manresa.
  • Please note that there is only one Mass on Thursday at 10am and on Friday at 8:30am, and no Mass on Saturday. Back to regular schedule on Monday, November 26.

JST Announcements
  • Office Building Hours: Academic Building is closed this week; reopens on Monday morning, Nov. 26 at 8am.
  • From the Offices of Ministerial Formation and of Spiritual Formation: Please check out the events listed on Monday, November 26, Children's Liturgy Workshop (RSVP to melamb@scu.edu) and on Friday, November 30, Looking for God as We Deal with Abuse in the Church: A Spiritual Conversation (RSVP to dross@scu.edu or gmurphy@scu.edu).
  • Last spring, you may have participated in our Lenten prayer series, A Heart Renewed: Daily Lenten Prayer from the Jesuit School of Theology. If so, you will be automatically subscribed to our Advent series Waiting in Joyful Hope: Daily Advent Prayer, an online retreat with daily reflections emailed to you each morning. New participants may sign up here.
  • JST lay students are invited to a retreat at the Jesuit Retreat Center in Los Altos, March 15-17, 2019, Friday evening-Sunday noon. The retreat will involve time for quiet prayer, sharing, and reflection, including reflection upon the Sunday Transfiguration gospel, Luke 9:28-36.  Jeanne Weir, M.Div., JST alumna, will facilitate. RSVP to Mary Beth Lamb at melamb@scu.edu by December 7.
  • Applications are now open for the Summer Practicum in Spiritual Direction, June 17 - July 12, directed by Jane Ferdon, O.P. and George Murphy, S.J. Applications are due by February 1, 2019. For more information, click here.

  • Lay Faith Sharing Group: In previous years lay students have formed student led faith sharing groups. Participating students found these groups to be important spaces for prayer and peer support. Interest has been expressed in forming a lay faith sharing group. If you are interested in joining such a group, please contact Mary Beth Lamb at melamb@scu.edu.
  • La mesa de español invites you to partake in fun Spanish conversation every Tuesday at 12pm on the patio, weather-permitting, or in Compañia.
