Design Thinking for Faculty and Staff

Interested in Design Thinking? Ciocca Center is sponsoring SCU faculty and staff for enrollment in any of 3 intro Design Thinking courses through IDEO U. Courses are online, asynchronous, self-paced, and estimated to take less than 10 hours. Enrollment is free, and upon completion of the course, participants may be eligible for a $200 stipend. Active Research Projects

Ciocca Center is funding two new research projects. Professor Hsin-I Cheng's study focuses on gaining a deeper understanding of Asian American Entreprenuers' unique engagement with the racial dynamics of their surroundings. Professor Zhiqiang Tao and Professor Yi Fang center their research on the question, "Can Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technology lead to fair decisions?" Learn more here.
