Dr. Bheda comes to us with over 15 years of experience leading educator professional development in brick and mortar, and online learning contexts. She has led continuous improvement, institutional effectiveness, and DEI efforts as Director of Institutional Assessment at UT Austin, as Program Coordinator in the Office of Institutional Equity and Diversity at University of Oregon, and with a curriculum and assessment portfolio for multiple schools at National University. More recently, she served as a higher education subject matter expert and product agnostic educational consultant in EdTech where she facilitated curricular assessment design planning, and data-use best practice adoption for student learning and success.
Dr. Bheda is a leader in culturally relevant program evaluation, transformative outcomes assessment, and effective strategic planning for continuous improvement across all departments, disciplines, and divisions in higher education. Her passion is learning about educational best practices and her commitment is to serving students. Drawing inspiration from her own personal experiences as an international, non-traditional student, she champions equity and organizational responsiveness for student success. As a people developer and organizational capacity builder in the higher ed, non-profit, and ed tech spaces, she has facilitated, guided, and mentored many on the path to educational activism and meaningful change by breaking down silos and fostering meaningful and authentic partnerships. She has authored multiple book chapters and articles at the intersection of assessment, curriculum design, social justice, and student success. She holds a PhD in Critical and Socio-Cultural Studies in Education, an M.S. in Educational Leadership, and an M.A. in Mass Communication.
Esha Chatterjee

Biography
Esha Chatterjee is a sociologist and quantitative researcher specializing in labor markets, gender inequality, and public policy. She earned her Ph.D. in Sociology from Stanford University in 2023 and consequently served as a Survey Researcher at UCLA’s Institute of Environment and Sustainability. Her research investigates how educational pathways—particularly college majors—shape gender segregation and income inequality in the labor market. Using mixed methods, including large-scale data from the American Community Survey and a custom-designed conjoint experiment, her dissertation explores the causal relationship between field of study and occupational sex segregation. At Santa Clara University, Dr. Chatterjee brings her expertise in data-driven analysis and equity-focused research to the role of Associate Director of Curriculum Assessment, where she supports the development and evaluation of inclusive, evidence-based academic programs.

Kyle holds a Master's Degree in College Student Personnel from Ohio University. Prior to his current role as Associate Director of Co-Curricular Assessment, he served as Senior Coordinator for Residential Academic Initiatives at Cal State University Monterey Bay. At CSUMB, Kyle oversaw Living Learning Communities, Academic Initiatives, and Assessment in Student Housing and Residential Life. While in that role he helped to establish Co-Curricular Learning Outcomes for the university and led the creation of Residential Learning Outcomes for Student Housing and Residential Life. Throughout all these efforts, Kyle works to bridge academic and student affairs, and illuminate the student learning and experiences taking place both in and beyond the classroom.

Biography
Laura has a Ph.D. in environmental fluid mechanics from the University of California, Davis. Laura is a lecturer in the Civil, Environmental & Sustainable Engineering Department at Santa Clara University and serves as a faculty associate specializing in assessment for the Collaborative for Teaching Innovation. In this role, she focuses on helping academic programs design and implement plans for assessing student learning outcomes.
Laura also remains active in research with two main areas of focus. The first focuses on how climate change impacts food and water security for underserved communities. Laura’s focus in this area is on helping existing not-for-profit organizations worldwide develop more resilient practices for producing more food with less water. Laura’s research also examines teaching practices that provide equitable learning and increase diversity in engineering disciplines.
Laura also currently serves as the chair of the Faculty Affairs Subcommittee on Lecturers and Adjuncts, a group committed to creating policies and procedures that promote respect and equity for lecturers at SCU.
Biography
Maddie Lakritz ('25) is a senior undergraduate student at Santa Clara University, pursuing a double-degree in Business Marketing and Psychology. Maddie contributes to a variety of projects in Educational Assessment, including survey design and administration; quantitative and qualitative data analysis; and website management. Maddie also participated in the planning and marketing of the Bronco Assessment Student Ambassador program, which launched in Fall, 2022.
Outside of Educational Assessment, she is an Executive Board member of the Leavey Peer Advising program, where she leads the team of peer advisors in guiding first-year business students through their transition into college. Apart from her involvement at SCU, Maddie has completed marketing internships in which she engaged in project management and digital marketing campaigns. She enjoys working with others and is passionate about making a positive impact, and she hopes to do so through her various roles on and off campus.

Shubhaan Saxena (’25) is a senior at Santa Clara University, pursuing a major in Management Information Systems with a minor in Business Analytics. He has been involved in many projects with Educational Assessment, contributing to key initiatives such as the Belonging Study that was administered in Spring 2023. He played a significant part in survey design, promotion, data analysis, and presenting findings to various campus groups, all aimed at fostering a more inclusive community.
Beyond his work in Educational Assessment, Shubhaan is an active member of the Leavey School of Business Community Fellows Program. Through this program, he interns with the City of San Jose as a Business Development Intern, where he applies his technical and analytical skills to streamline processes for the Office of Economic Development. His contributions include automating workflows like grant processing and conducting routine analyses to support the office's mission.
Shubhaan thrives in collaborative and dynamic environments, leveraging his critical thinking and analytical skills to make a meaningful impact.
