Transfer Peer Mentors and Educators support our new transfer students throughout their first year at Santa Clara University. Peer mentors create community during LEAD Week, meet regularly with their mentees throughout their first year and plan activities for their mentoring groups. Transfer peer educators are a source of support and information in the Advanced LEAD Seminar class that introduces transfer students to SCU resources and leadership opportunities.

LEAD Transfer Peer Mentors & Educators

Get to know our Transfer Team!

Our LEAD Week Transfer team includes three peer mentors and two seminar peer educators. Current transfer students are preferred for these positions but juniors or seniors who started at first years will also be considered. This team addresses the unique concerns of transfer students.

Transfer Peer Mentors meet one-on-one with their mentees during fall quarter and plan one event per quarter for all of their mentees.

LEAD Seminar Peer Educators support LEAD 101, the LEAD transfer student seminar.
