Biography
Hi, my name is Yaretzi Ursua Garcia, but my friends and family call me Yare. I am from Denver, Colorado. I am a rising Junior studying Psychology and Child Studies with hopes of getting my doctorate in Occupational Therapy post-undergrad. My favorite class that I've taken at SCU so far was my first ELSJ, PSYC 185 Child Development.
A few fun facts about me are that my family owns 2 Mexican restaurants, I share the same birthday as Noah Cinteneo, and I have irrational fears of hippos & tornadoes.
In addition to LEAD, I am also involved in the Undocumented Students & Allies Association(USAA), the Office of Accessible Education, and the Ignatian Center for Jesuit Education.
