SCU Sports Business

Santa Clara University's Sports Business is a completely student-run organization which provides students with resources and opportunities to enhance and build a career in the sports industry. This organization explores the intersection of business fundamentals with the entertainment and awe found in athletics.  Our coordinated efforts with distinguished guest speakers, alumni, and professionals help students gain a better understanding of the duties and responsibilities of a career in sports marketing, sports management, sports finance, ticket sales, operations, and sports journalism fields.  Visit our website to find out more information.

 

Sports is aspirational, emotional, cultural, and dynamic. The wonder that sports brings along is impactful to its avid fans and its surrounding communities. I created this organization to explore what drives this passion, and through partnerships with successful teams and companies, I am slowly getting answers on how it's all done. As SCU Sports Business continues to grow with the addition of devoted Santa Clara students, our search on how business intertwines with the world of athletics continues. Whether we look to pursue these answers during our careers that are yet to come, or now simply as a pastime, we are excited and honored to be a premier organization here on campus and throughout the entirety of the Bay Area, all as part of Santa Clara's distinguished Leavey School of Business.
