LBSA is an organization aiming to serve as a resource and guide for rising Latinx professionals.
As one of the few Latinas in Leavey, I struggled to make connections with many of my peers. Through LBSA I knew I would be able to find somebody who could better relate to the experiences I have had in my field. I most enjoy seeing genuine relationships form between our older and younger students. From these relationships it is always amazing to see how quickly lower-years are able to grow in maturity, skill, and confidence.
