ACE Class of 2020

What appealed to you about the ACE program? What initially made you want to join?

I wanted to join the ACE program because it's a great resource for its members. The skill-building workshops, job-shadow field trips at Silicon Valley companies, and networking, and much more, all sounded like great chances to learn, grow professionally, and thus put myself in a good position for the future.

What do you hope to take away from being a member of ACE?

I hope to gain more confidence in myself and my abilities to be a successful businesswoman. Since high school, I have struggled with trying to start a small, hand-made jewelry business of my own. Despite these setbacks, I know that if I'm able to combine my education from the Leavey School of Business with the tools, knowledge, and experience that I will develop through the ACE Program, I'll be able to gain the necessary confidence and skills to pursue my future goals.

How do you think ACE will help you in the future after you graduate? How will ACE help you achieve your professional dreams?

The ACE Program will help me to develop the interview skills that will allow me to confidently and professionally speak about myself, the leadership skills necessary to be able to take initiative, and of course, provide me with the opportunity to meet a reliable group of individuals who are willing to be a great support system even after I graduate.
