ACE Class of 2020

Why did you choose to join the ACE program?

I chose to join ACE because I found the program to be a great way to compliment my academic business education. While the lessons I've learned in the classroom are important to having a successful career, professional skills are equally as important, if not more. The ACE program provides its members with the tools to develop into well-rounded business professionals which is what I was initially drawn to. Moreover, the ACE community is so supportive and everyone wants to see each other grow and be successful, which is something that I wanted to be a part of.

How has ACE supported you professionally?

ACE has supported my professional growth and development in a number of ways. Not only have my professional skills, such as resume and interview skills, been significantly strengthened by the training I've received in ACE, but my networking skills have as well. In addition, the support that I received  from my fellow cohort members and mentors in ACE has helped me to stay grounded and navigate my career path. Furthermore, the professional opportunities that ACE has provided by giving us the ability to connect with the ACE alumni network are truly invaluable.

How has the ACE program complimented your business education?

The ACE program compliments my business education by connecting what I'm learning in the classroom to the real world. Through ACE, I've been able to see and experience what awaits me in the business sector after SCU. This has given me the opportunity to gain a different perspective on the value of my business education and helped me to choose g my major and discover what I'm interested in so that I'll be able to have the best career possible.
