Biography
Shwetalee Jitendra Gadekar, serves as an On-Call Senior Administrative Assistant at the Retail Management Institute, where she supports the institute’s operations, digital presence, and strategic programming. With her analytical mindset, strong technical background, and dedication to continuous learning, she plays an integral role in advancing key initiatives and ensuring the smooth execution of projects that drive the institute’s mission forward.
With over five years of professional experience, Shwetalee has previously worked as a Data Engineer in Mumbai, India at IDFC First Bank, Capgemini, and other organizations. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Mumbai University and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Information Systems at Santa Clara University. Backed by a strong academic foundation, Shwetalee brings professionalism to every aspect of her work.
Beyond her technical achievements, Shwetalee is actively involved in community leadership. As President of the Rotaract Club of Bombay Powai (2022–2023), she led outreach campaigns focused on youth and education. She has also served as a Teaching Assistant for Object-Oriented Programming at the Leavey School of Business, assisting students and fostering a supportive learning environment. In addition, she is an active member of the Women in Business Club at Santa Clara University, where she participates in initiatives aimed at empowering future women leaders in the field.
