Karina is a program associate at the David and Lucile Packard Foundation, focusing on the intersection of agriculture, sustainable development, and environmental conservation. Prior to joining the Packard Foundation, Karina worked at Root Capital, an international NGO and social investment fund that provides access to credit, markets, and financial advisory services to small and growing businesses in Latin America and Africa. She previously spent nine years in higher education administration as an administrative director at Harvard Law School and at the MIT Sloan School of Management. Karina is pursuing an evening MBA degree through Santa Clara University and has an undergraduate degree in political science from Boston College.
